FREE AIRPORT PICKUP
We provide absolutely FREE airport / seaport pickup to our guests during check-in. You must share your flight or sailing information with us via WhatsApp, Email or SMS atleast 24 hours prior to arrival so that we can arrange your pickup accordingly.
Beware of dishonest taxi and auto drivers outside airport / seaport. Unsuspecting tourists are not only overcharged, but also misguided, misled and often their vacation ruined. In case of any confusion give us a call directly.
REACH BY YOURSELF
We are located approximately halfway (5km) between Bambooflat (SH10) and Ferrurgunj (NH4). Best way to reach Ixzire from city area is via Chatham Bambooflat ferry-link (15min) and a short drive or auto / taxi (5km) from Bambooflat.
From airport (or seaport) come to Chatham Jetty. Distance would be between 3km to 6km and should not take more than 5 ~ 10mins. At Chatham board any ferry to Bambooflat. Ferry services are frequent, takes only 15mins, runs 5:00am till 9:30pm, costs just Rs. 12 per person. Once you reach Bambooflat, take an auto / Jeep to Ixzire. Distance approx 5km (5 ~ 10mins). Total journey time 40mins on an average.
SCOOTY RENTAL
We don't rent scooty. However scooty on rent is available at Port Blair city. You can bring your rented scooty to ixzire via Chatham Bambooflat ferry. Ixzire has ample parking.
POLICE STATION
Nearest police station to Ixzire resort is Bambooflat (5km) Next to the Ferry Jetty. Andaman & Nicobar is a ZERO CRIME ZONE. Whether you are male or female, travelling together or alone, enjoy your worry free days and nights at Andaman. For many it's a life time opportunity.
MEDICAL EMERGENCY
Nearest 24hour medical facility and resident doctor is available at Primary Health Center Wimberlygunj (3km) and Community Health center Bambooflat (5km). There are multiple medicine shops in Wimberlygunj and Bambooflat. Resort office also maintains first-aid facility and limited over-the-counter medicines.
CONVENIENCE STORE
We maintain an in-house convenience store of small but useful items generally required by tourists. Nearest shops are at Wimberlygunj and Bambooflat.
SPECIAL FOOD
Our kitchen gladly entertain special cooking instructions, to the best of our ability, in case you are travelling with baby, children, senior citizens or person with specific food allergy.
